Piccolino's Birthday Party

Today was my friend Piccolino's Birthday Party.
(Everyone calls him Piccolino, but his real name is Emil).
He lives in North Berkeley in a house that has unbelieveable gardens.
I know him from the Park and because my nanny and his nanny are cousins.

The party had a dinosaur theme and they had this huge pinata that we had to break open.

Here I am with Piccolino assessing the challenge before us.

Here I am giving it my best shot.

Gathering the loot from the pinata.

My First Day of Preschool

Today was my first day of preschool.

Sebastien and I started school together.
It is so nice to have my buddy there with me.

It was a little scary at first, but there were lots of fun things to
play with and I made some new friends.

Griffy came to pick me up after I made it through my first day.

Discussing the events of the day with Sebastien.

A goodbye hug for my best friend.

A Sad Day- Nora's Last Day

Today was Sebastien and my last day with Nora.
We were so sad to see her go.
(We actually didn't realize that she was leaving us until later,
which is why we were so happy in the pictures).

Nora was the best Nanny in the world and we hope to still see her often!

The Usual Pit Stop at Aunt Adele and Uncle Hank's

On the way back home, we made our usual pit stop at Aunt Adele and Uncle Hank's.
It was really nice to see them.

I tried out a trampoline for the first time!

What fun!

We're at the beach again.
One of my favorite places to go.

Not a bad place to take a nap.

4th of July at Kristin and Lee's in LA

After Santa Barbara, we drove down to LA for the 4th of July.

We stayed at Yan and Lee's place in Manhattan Beach and on the 4th went to their other home in Century City for lunch and birthday cake for Mom. They have two beautiful homes and were very generous to let us use one of them while we were in town. It was really nice to see Yan Yan, Lee, and Sarah. I especially loved seeing their cats and birds!

Mommy's Birthday in Santa Barbara

We went to Santa Barbara for Mommy's birthday.

We stayed at this really great hotel with a pool.

I was so tired by mid morning, I fell asleep in the sun in Daddy's arms.

We brought our bikes and took them all over town.

We had dinner downtown.
Mommy had birthday tiramisu and I tried it for the first time.
It was so yummy!

By the end of the day, I was so tuckered.
