Today we went to visit Mom's former boss and teacher, Adele.
She is currently doing great things for the architecture program at MIT.
I got to meet Petey, a cat that she had when Mommy worked for her years ago.
Adele made us an incredible and beautiful salmon salad for lunch.
It was a fabulous lunch and we were stuffed afterwards.
I also got to meet Mio, a parrot that used to sit next to Mommy at the office.
Adele has some really great collections of things from all over the world. I took a real liking to her African benches and set up a bridge of them across the living room.
As you can see from the pictures, her place is incredible and her art collections are amazing. I managed to not break anything while I was there.
Adele is an amazing woman and I'm so happy I was able to meet her.
Mommy's best friend from College lives in Boston too.
Her name is Jennifer also, but Mommy calls her Burkie.
We spent the day with Burkie and her family.
We started out having a picnic at Nantasket Beach in Hull, MA.
Burkie's husband, Michael, is a Boston Firefighter.
We went to visit the firehouse and that was so exciting. The firefighters pretended to get a call and came down the fire poles. They also let us sit in one of the firetrucks.
Afterwards we went and had Mexican food in Newton. It was another great day.
Today we went to visit one of Mommy's very best friends from grade school, In.
In and her husband Rowan, (who also both went to the U of C with Mommy) just had their first baby named Duncan. Because we were in town, we were able to meet him for the first time.
Here's baby Duncan, he's sooo cute!
Mommy and In.
Aunt Seema, Uncle Eric, Cousin Raj and Cousin Ray came to visit too.
In's brother, Brian, also came to say hello. It was a fun reunion!
Hello,
I would like to introduce myself. My name is Chase Colby Worthington and I came in on Tuesday 6.26.07 at 2:30 pm, and it was a little bit of a rough ride…got 4 flat tires and the vehicle I came in on got a little beat up, but with a little repair it should be ok soon. For those who are interested, here are my stats: 6 lbs, 14 oz 19.5” long.
My parents are Jennifer Brodie and Kurt Worthington and they are very happy and excited about my arrival and there’s this golden furry animal running around that’s wagging his tail incessantly. I think that means he’s excited too.
So far my parents have said that I’m pretty cute and I have really good lungs, but my eating and sleeping habits seem to be a little different than theirs.
Don’t know when I will get to meet all of you, but I am looking forward to when I do!
Love, Chase
Wanted you all to know that my mom's super duper cousin Randy set this website up for me. He's vying for the "best second cousin of the year" award. I think he's going to win, don't you? Anyway, Randy is the best and I wanted you all to know it!
